| PPP President Robyn Lane presents this year's performing arts scholarship to Katelyn Till. Katelyn is a 2011 graduate of Andrew Community High School. She is the daughter of Pat and Tracey Till and will be attending Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids this fall. Congratulations Katelyn! |

Peace Pipe Players Community Theater has established a $500.00 performing arts scholarship to be awarded to a graduating senior who has been involved in theatre, speech, dance, or music.
Applicants must be a high school senior attending Bellevue, Bellevue Marquette, East Central, Maquoketa, Midland, Northeast, or Preston school districts.
Any student who has been involved in the performing arts is encouraged to apply. However, preference will be given to applicants planning to major in the performing arts, including theater, vocal, instrumental, dance and technical (sound/lights/set costruction, etc.)
Interested students must:
1- complete an application form
2- provide two letters of reference
(one letter must be from a performing arts instructor or a director) 3- submit a typewritten essay of fewer than 500 words on the topic, 'How has being involved in the arts helped shape the person you are today?' 4- include on a separate sheet a list of: community service, organization memberships and any other awards or recognition received
Completed applications and all supporting documentation must be postmarked by April 2, 2012 and mailed to:

This is the fourth year a scholarship will be awarded. PPP intends to offer this scholarship annually. 100% of the donations received from concessions at PPP productions go to support the scholarship fund.
